Ok, first, go read this post by @wingstocarryon about Hubzilla. I suppose I could reblog with a response, but I always fuck those up with something stupid so, yeah, naw, not gonna chance it.

Being the geek I am, I had to go check out this Hubzilla stuff. I came across a medium.com post about the application, and if it can really do all of this, then it’s a pretty slick piece of coding.

It’s a bit like the best of Facebook and tumblr with a bit of IRC and meetup.org, and Wikipedia came along, too, for the hell of it. It also cross-posts to Twitter, Wordpress, Dreamwidth, and several other platforms, and anything else you feel like writing a plugin for.
